Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with the carpet install that you did last week. You guys made both ordering and laying carpet so easy. I will be recommending you to other people I know.
Laminate flooring gives you the look of timber at a fraction of the price, which makes it a popular choice for family homes, holiday houses and rental properties across the Mornington Peninsula. See the latest colours and textures in our Rosebud showroom.
Laminate is a multi-layer floor with a photographic timber (or stone) layer under a tough, clear wear layer. Planks click together so installation is quick, and the surface resists the scratches, scuffs and fading that come with everyday family life.
Laminate is not recommended for wet areas such as bathrooms and laundries. If you want a timber look that is waterproof, look at our hybrid flooring.
When you compare ranges, look at the thickness of the board and the AC wear rating of the surface, which tells you how well it resists wear, scratching and indentation. Thicker boards feel more solid underfoot and are quieter. Our staff will help you match the rating to how the room is used.
Almost all laminate is laid as a floating floor: the planks lock together over an underlay rather than being glued or nailed down. That keeps installation costs down, and individual boards can be replaced if they are ever damaged.
The zigzag look of a traditional parquetry floor is now available in laminate, so you can have a stylish, contemporary herringbone or chevron floor without the price tag of solid timber.
