I would like to thank all the staff at Rosebud Carpet Court for their excellent service as not only did they help me choose the best-looking carpet for my house, they also gave me some information on how to care for my carpet properly. Also, a big thanks to the carpet layer that turned up on time and did a great job laying our new carpet!

Hybrid flooring is our most popular hard floor for busy Mornington Peninsula homes. It is 100% waterproof, highly scratch resistant and can be laid throughout the whole house, including kitchens, bathrooms and laundries. Compare the latest hybrid ranges in our Rosebud showroom.

Hybrid flooring is a rigid floating floor that combines the best of laminate and vinyl. A dense, stable core is topped with a realistic timber or tile design and a tough, scratch-resistant wear layer. Boards click together and can be walked on the same day.

Why choose hybrid flooring?

  • Waterproof: can be wet mopped and installed in bathrooms, laundries and kitchens
  • The look and feel of timber with the durability of vinyl and laminate
  • Exceptionally stable in changing temperatures, so it handles beach-house summers and winters with minimal movement
  • Highly resistant to scratches, dents and heavy foot traffic
  • Quick click-lock installation with no internal expansion joins needed for rooms up to 30m x 15m
  • Suitable for every room in the house, and for commercial spaces

Carpet Court's hybrid ranges come in a wide choice of colours and designs that mimic hardwood, stone and tiles, including wide boards and herringbone.

How hard-wearing is hybrid flooring?

Hybrid is one of the most hard-wearing floors available and is suited to both residential and commercial use. It can still be scratched or dented by dragged furniture or dropped objects, so use felt pads under furniture legs and mats at entrances. Our staff can give you tips on protecting your floor.

Can hybrid flooring be sanded and recoated?

No. Hybrid is a printed imitation of timber rather than solid wood, so it can't be re-sanded. Its superior wear layer means that, with normal care, a hybrid floor will look good for many years, and individual boards can be replaced if needed.
